Lock the screen for kids

Terminia's kid mode already locks each game behind your PIN. But a determined child could still press Home and leave the app. To keep them inside one game until you unlock it, use your phone's built-in screen lock — it takes 30 seconds to set up.

How it works together: start kid mode in Terminia (choose the child + games, set the PIN), open a game, then turn on your phone's screen lock below. Now the child can play only that game and needs your phone passcode/PIN to get out.

Android — Screen Pinning

  1. Open Settings → Security (or Security & privacy) → More security settings → App pinning / Screen pinning.
  2. Turn it On, and turn on “Ask for PIN before unpinning”.
  3. Open the Terminia game. Open Recent apps (the square / swipe up & hold), tap the app's icon at the top, and choose Pin.
  4. To exit: hold Back + Recents (or swipe up & hold) → enter your phone PIN.

iPhone / iPad — Guided Access

  1. Open Settings → Accessibility → Guided Access and turn it On.
  2. Tap Passcode Settings → Set Guided Access Passcode and choose a code (or use Face/Touch ID).
  3. Open the Terminia game, then triple-click the side (or Home) button → Start.
  4. To exit: triple-click again → enter your Guided Access passcode → End.

Menu names vary a little by phone model and version, but the feature exists on essentially all modern Android and iOS devices. A web app cannot block the Home button by itself — this is why we use the phone's built-in lock.

Zaključaj ekran za decu (SR)

Dečji režim u Terminiji već zaključava svaku igru iza tvog PIN-a. Ali dete može da pritisne Home i napusti aplikaciju. Da bi ostalo u jednoj igri dok ti ne otključaš, uključi ugrađeno zaključavanje ekrana na telefonu.

Android — Kačenje ekrana (Screen pinning):

  1. Podešavanja → Bezbednost → Još podešavanja bezbednosti → Kačenje aplikacije/ekrana.
  2. Uključi i uključi „Traži PIN pre otkačinjanja”.
  3. Otvori igru → Nedavne aplikacije → dodirni ikonu aplikacije na vrhu → Zakači.
  4. Izlaz: zadrži Nazad + Nedavne (ili prevuci gore i zadrži) → unesi PIN telefona.

iPhone/iPad — Vođeni pristup (Guided Access):

  1. Podešavanja → Pristupačnost → Vođeni pristup → uključi.
  2. Podešavanja lozinke → postavi lozinku (ili Face/Touch ID).
  3. Otvori igru → trostruki klik na bočno/Home dugme → Počni.
  4. Izlaz: trostruki klik → unesi lozinku → Završi.

Nazivi menija se malo razlikuju po modelu, ali funkcija postoji na praktično svim savremenim Android i iOS uređajima.
